Duty of Care

We believe it is your right to know that the waste that we take from you, is handled in the correct manner and that it reaches its final destination with no hiccups.  To ensure this we will only use reputable suppliers and waste disposal outlets who can withstand the toughest scrutiny. With this in mind we carry out regular Duty of Care visits to all of our chosen sites, hold their current licences on file and keep in constant contact. We will provide new clients with full Duty of Care pack(s) on all suppliers who will handle their waste, as well as offering them the opportunity to go into the sites to see for themselves how their waste would be handled.

As you are probably aware, it is the responsibility of the waste ‘consignor’ - YOU - to ensure that your waste is being disposed of in accordance with the law. Have you got duty of care information on the current site your waste goes to? Are you 100% convinced that your waste is handled correctly? As a client of Spirechem we will ensure that you have complete peace of mind in every stage of your waste removal, along with the assurance that you are adhering to the law.

Do you have completed copies of all Environmental Agency documentation for all your waste? If not, how do you know that it has been disposed of legally? It might have gone off your site but where did it end up? At Spirechem we believe that it is your right to know that your waste has been dealt with correctly from ‘cradle to grave’, which is why we always supply our clients with completed copies of duty of care notes or Environmental Agency documentation once available. We can also supply certificates of destruction if you desire.

Duty of care is your responsibility – let us make it easy for you.
